Project Background
I designed showcards as a way to promote my Bachelor of Fine Arts solo exhibition. Showcards are typically for documenting and promoting an art exhibition. They are placed near the entrance or exit of the exhibition.
Approach
On the front of my showcards, I chose a teaser image of a piece of work that would be featured in the exhibition. I placed all event details on the back and left negative space on the right-hand side to mail out cards as invitations to my friends and family who live out of state.
Results
The showcards acted as a business card during the event. I was able to connect with other artists and prospective buyers.
